Introducing the BoldSign Mobile Application

We’re excited to announce that the BoldSign mobile application is now available! You can access the beta version on the Google Play Store and TestFlight. With the mobile app, you can streamline your eSignature workflows, manage documents, and collect signatures on the go.

The BoldSign mobile app perfectly complements the web application, enabling you to upload your documents (PDF, Word, Excel, and images are supported), assign signature and data collection fields, and send documents for signing. The built-in field editor offers a best-in-class experience, allowing you to configure even the most complex documents on mobile devices easily.

Our goal with this beta release is to gather valuable user feedback to enhance the app before its official launch. We encourage you to try out the app and share your thoughts with us. Your feedback is crucial in shaping the BoldSign mobile experience. Thank you for your support!

BoldSign Mobile app highlights

The following are some of the key features of the app:
  • Self-sign or request signatures: Upload PDF, Word, Excel, or image files; insert the required signature and data fields; and then sign the document yourself or request signatures from others.
  • Collect in-person signatures: Collect signatures in person without the hassle of physical paper.
  • Track document statuses: Track your signature requests, organize documents, send reminders, and perform actions like revoke, reassign, and decline requests.
  • Legally binding eSignatures: All signatures captured with BoldSign comply with U.S. (ESIGN) and international (eIDAS) eSignature laws. BoldSign records all major activities, provides an audit trail report, and digitally signs the final document.
  • Security and compliance: BoldSign complies with SOC 2® Type 2, GDPR, HIPAA, and PCI DSS guidelines. BoldSign maintains rigorous security and data protection measures to safeguard your privacy.
  • Rich feature set: The app is packed with essential features, such as templates, signer authentication, document expiration, expiration alerts, configurable signing orders, multiple recipients with various roles (signer, reviewer, in-person signer), filtering and sorting for documents, pinnable filters, reusable signatures, audit logs, in-app notifications, and more.

How to install the BoldSign mobile app

Install the BoldSign mobile app on your Android and iOS devices by following these steps:

Android

  1. Open this Google Play link on your Android device.
  2. Install the app and open it to get started.

iOS

  1. Ensure that the TestFlight app is installed on your iOS device.
  2. Open this link to access the BoldSign mobile app on TestFlight.

  3. Accept the terms and proceed with installing the app.
  4. Open the app. Upon opening it, you'll see a message from us. Tap Next.

Logging in to the BoldSign mobile app

Upon opening the BoldSign mobile app, you’ll be prompted to log in. If you already have a BoldSign account, simply enter your credentials by tapping the Login button.
If you’re new to BoldSign, you can quickly create an account by tapping the Create Account link.

After logging in, you will be directed to the Dashboard page of the BoldSign mobile app.

Testing the app

The mobile app is equipped with most of the features available in the BoldSign web application. We’ve worked hard to make the app’s user interface as straightforward as possible so that you can try out its many features without reading dozens of onboarding slides. Here are some basic actions you can perform in the mobile app to help us test it:

  • Send a document for a recipient to sign.
  • Send a document to a recipient using an existing template.
  • Send a document to multiple recipients with a specific signing order.
  • Enable signer authentication.
  • Configure document expiration and expiration alerts.
  • Self-sign a document.
  • Sign a document.
  • Download the completed document and audit logs.
  • Save, update, and reuse signatures.

Opting out of beta testing

If you wish to opt out of the beta testing for any reason, you can do so in the following ways:

  • For Android users: Just uninstall the BoldSign app from your device.
  • For iOS users: Open the BoldSign app in TestFlight, scroll to the bottom of the screen, and tap the Stop Testing Confirm your decision by tapping Stop Testing again on the pop-up.
